NEW REGULATION ABOUT SOCIAL INSURANCE FOR PROBATIONARY CONTRACT:

According to dispatch of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (Vietnam) and Vietnam Social Insurance, employees whose probation periods are recorded in the labor contract which belongs to compulsory social insurance, the employer and employee must pay compulsory social insurance for the whole probation period.

NEW POINTS OF USING HEALTH INSURANCE CARD IN 2018:

  1. The new health insurance card does not show the expiration date, but the date began to be validly used only.
  2. For those health insurance card which issued in the end of 2017 (with no expiry date) can be kept using in 2018.
  3. In case of employees have the demand for healthcare, yet they haven’t received the new social insurance card, they can contact Social Insurance Agency to ask for supports. If previous card still has expired, the health insurance will continue to be used
  4. If the time of submitting social insurances (5 years continuous) is incorrect shown on the health insurance card, contact Social insurances agency to renew.
  5. For new health insurance card which value is only up to 31/12/2017, Participants should immediately contact the management agency to transfer the approved list of health insurance in 2018 to the social insurance agency.
  6. Participants who be entitled to enjoy the highest level of Health insurances should provide the documents proving the right to be enjoyed to the Social insurance agency.
