In cases where foreign workers need to apply for a work permit as an expert, a letter of expert or bachelor's certificate is required.

Note that foreign workers need experience in the position of an expert with the relevant industry for more than 3 years.

2. Does appointment letter have to consular legalization?

The appointment letter does not need consular legalization but needs to be translated into Vietnamese and notarized.

Note: if you submit a notarized translation, the original must be attached.

3. How many valid months of documents are consular legalized?

Consular legalization documents are valid for 6 months to 1 year. Specific duration will be prescribed under the laws of the host country.

Example: The valid time of the consular legalized document in Singapore is 1 year

4. How is a medical certificate and criminal record considered valid?

When applying, a medical certificate and criminal record must be issued within the last 6 months.

In case of a medical certificate and criminal record issued overseas, consular legalization and notarized translation into Vietnamese is required.

5. Why should not ignore the standard image?

Valid images include a white background, a shirt, no tinted glasses, size 4 * 6 and especially photos taken for 6 months.

• Foreign workers in Vietnam work in the form of Working for foreign non-governmental organizations, international organizations in Vietnam. are allowed to operate in accordance with the law of Vietnam.
• Foreign workers in Vietnam work in the form of Volunteers.
• Foreign workers in Vietnam work in the form of The person in charge of establishing a commercial presence.
• Foreign workers in Vietnam work in the form of Managers, Executives, Experts, Technical Workers.
• Foreign workers in Vietnam work in the form of Participating in the implementation of bidding packages and projects in Vietnam.
