Starting from 01/01/2021, the employer should be noted some cases of paid leaves for employees such as holidays, annual leaves, ... according to Labor code 2019 and Decree 145/2020/NĐ-CP, specially as below:

Summary:

  • Independent day: increased to 02 days instead of 01 days as previous regulations in the Labor Code 2012.
  • Supplementing the case that the employee can take personal leave but still enjoy the full salary: Fosterfather/fosthermother, Fosterfather/fosthermother of wife or husband die
  • Personal leave to the Clause 1 Article 115 Labor code 2019 that the employee has to notify the Company before taking leave.
  • Bổ sung thêm quy định về thời giờ được tính vào thời giờ làm việc được hưởng lương.
  • Female employees who have been menstruating or nurturing children under 12 months who do not have the need to take leave and get approval from the company, will be paid an additional salary according to their jobs
